DIMENSIONS and COMPOSITION:
LUMINE is composed of a succession of solid wood strips between which are inserted the fibers optics.
LUMINE panels and furniture are BESPOKE. There is no standard size, just a few limits: maximum length of 118 in. (3 m) in one piece; maximum width of 51 in. (1.30 m). LUMINE panel thickness goes from 0,4 in. to 1,57 in. (10 mm to 40 mm) and more. The thickness is calculated according to the constitution of the elements and their final use, in order to preserve their stability. Common width of the wooden strips is 2,27in. (7 mm) (Other on request). Available wood species: oak, beech, ash, sycamore, U.S cherry, U.S. walnut, teak, Sipo-mahogany, bubinga, wenge, zebrawood...
Fiber optic diameter is 0,5 mm (for optimum results of light). Common distance between each fiber is 0,6 mm.
