• "Quertec" has been designed to enhance many interior design items:
  • Interior and sliding doors,
  • decorative panels, partitions, Japenese-style partitioning,
  • furniture and furniture parts: screens, headboards, counter fronts, cupboards, dressing room doors..
  • table tops, washbasin units..

"Quertec"®

This material combines the majesty of the wood with the transparency or colour of the resin : playing with shadows and light, deep and elegant stripes.

Many type of woods : Oak, beech, sipo-mahogany, mapel-sycomore, cherry, bubinga, walnut, iroko, teak, wenge…

Various tones :
- Natural, clear and translucent colour,
- Dark, elegant and subtle colour
- Acidulous colour : pink, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple,red…

The stripes created by alternating two materials are most often: 15+15, 15+20, 20+20, 25+25, 28+28 (mm).
Connecting the panels and milling will be done in the wood section.
Other stripe-forming mixes as well as patterns can be envisaged but require prior analysis.
For doors with mortise locks, notches for hinges and other machining elements, our research unit must be consulted.

The panel sizes (length, width and shape) are made on request.They are machined and cut in our workshops using specific tools.
The thickness of a "Quertec" panel varies from 15 to 40 mm and will be calculated according to the size,fixing end-use of the panel (maximum length :2.50 m ;maximum width : 1.20 m).

Each "Quertec" panel is sanded and then varnished in the workshop.The way the "Quertec" panel reacts and can treated is similar to a panel or work top made of varnished wood.It can be re-sanded and revarnished.
